   This upcoming workshop is focused on a most critical component of the body & emotions, i.e., water.  

   Here’s the thing, to truly hydrate our cells and tissues, there must be open pathways for the water to flow.  

   Do you drink lots of water but don’t really feel much better?

   Those stiff, hurt, inflamed, or injured areas have a tough time receiving the hydration they need, keeping energy levels low and frustration high. 

   You can make a difference by opening the body and making space through yoga….
 
   The focus is on the three primary reservoirs of water, i.e.
  • feet
  • generatives 
  • breasts
  • empowered by the second energy center/chakra.

   With meditation, video illustration, and movement, you will empower your personal connection to higher power and the inherent wisdom to hydrate body, heart and spirit.  Based on the energy principles of  Dr. Randolph Stone, Hatha Yoga, and mindful breath, EmPowerFlow taps into the inherent, restorative wisdom of our being.

   Class begins with a meditation on the Inherent Intelligence of Water, guided by Karen Kerns, BCPP & her mastery of anatomy, physiology & energy flow.  Following this is an amazing 5 minute video on the power of water in the fascia/body tissue.  KK will show manikins that demonstrate poses and a balanced system throughout class.  

   The yoga flow I'll lead will be simple, yet deep.  We will begin warming up the stiff frozen places with easy, activating movement to inspiring music.  As space opens lengthening occurs which will ignite more flow.  Moving the pelvis in like ways of the island dancers, that Dr. Stone often referenced, brings more softness to the tissues and helps to spread the vital force.  Then the next step with the feet - new moves for the top and bottom to make happy feet!  And, most naturally, like a fountain that rises with the power of love, the heart opens and the chest breathes.

Aging Gracefully with EmPowerFlow Yoga

     “Each birthday is not about how old you are, it’s about aging gracefully!”  

     Addressing the issues of aging can be overwhelming.  Issues of stiffness, pain, old and new injuries can leave you feeling old and powerless. You may think of yoga as just pretzel like poses and extreme stretches.  And this is true for those who have been practicing a long time.  But there is really much more.

     For those of us in our 50’s, 60’s, 70’s, and yes 80’s….we just want to feel good to go where we want to go.   Learning to move your body to the maximum ability you have right now is the essence of yoga.  In class I help you maximize this ability with  individual attention, slow steady steps to help you breathe better and move easier.  You can take steps to alleviate both mental stress and physical limitations.  

    Each class is designed to reach you where you are.  First and foremost is to get your circulation going and move energy throughout your body - you have to get moving to keep your body engine running.  Just as you ’tune up’ your vehicle, your body is your vehicle for life and must get regular ’tune ups.’

    If you have 50% ability to move, you can make 100% of that 50%!  If you can walk and breathe you can do EmPowerFlow Yoga!

My Story...

​I, Lakshmi, am recommending the workshop, Diving Deep into Yoga and Energy Principles to you as one of the best studies of energy.  After a decade of studying the energy model of Polarity Therapy with Eleanora, as applied to bodywork, yoga, meditation, and life………I have found that the polarity process of self-inquiry is a great tool to support my emotional growth.  However , initially I didn’t know where to start or what questions to ask.  During meditation my thoughts would be all over the place and I would get frustrated.  Then with Eleanora’s help, I learned to use my body as my guidance system.  The body speaks truth and is a great communicator and teacher. 
 
     EmPowerFlow Yoga based on the energy principles of Polarity Therapy as presented by Dr. Randolph Stone, is the study of relationships and the elements found in nature and our bodies.  The elements are Earth, Water, Fire, Air & Ether.  So thoughts are represented by the Air element.  The earth element balances Air.  So…getting into my body by doing physical activity like walking, yoga, gardening or bodywork is very beneficial to me.  This well-defined pattern of energy helps me understand how I relate to my body, to my behaviors, to others and to the world.
 
     I worked for 28 years in the information technology field, training people on software, and solving technical problems.  I love discovering what is happening behind the scenes.   With a computer, you do certain steps and you get certain results.  The body is the same way, in fact I say the body is my new computer!  The body is absolutely fascinating to me.  Now I listen to my body’s messages.  When I have knee or hip pain (usually on my left side), I consider where is the block in the energetic circuit?  How does my body want to move and what does it need?  I have the resources within to know where to go next.  After moving mindfully, my body feels better and my mind is more at ease.  I feel empowered.

     Using the tools of EmPowerFlow Yoga and Polarity Therapy on a daily basis keeps me excited and engaged still after 10 years of study!  For me this is my lifestyle.  I am so grateful.  These teachings have changed my perspective of the world from a confusing and even threatening environment to a benevolent and compassionate play-ground.  I love having “aha” moments from the study of this material that is so rich with guidance.  Thank you Eleanora for being my bridge to this energetic world!

   Now is the time to bring on the cavalry!  The calvary is the band of light workers, body workers, therapists, seekers, and practitioners empowering themselves to help others help themselves.  Paths for Wholeness is stirring the pot of  all this madness in the world by following one of the most powerful teachings of the mystics….”the time is now to turn the love of power into the power of love.”  Our training programs are dedicated to cultivating  power of the heart,  skill with the hands, and compassion of presence.  We are here to co-create a cavalry for health and well being.
   
    Stress Patterns Resolved is a new course based on the Vital Energy teachings of Dr. Randolph Stone, creator of Polarity Therapy.  Since 1980, I have been working with these principles and to this day see extraordinary transformations, i.e., people feel a whole lot better, they can think clearly again, their bodies relax, they see through the fog.   This is what you will learn in this class.
      
    This course is an introduction to a very grounded approach to energy work AND  is ideal for massage therapists, energy practitioners, and therapists who want to  tune up your work from what may be feeling too routine AND deepening your touch through non-force, AND charging up your own inner engine to amplify the expression of your unique gifts in the world.

   We really cannot fix anyone else….but we sure can help them feel a whole lot better.   And doesn’t that make you feel a whole lot better.

   This workshop introduces the nervous system patterns as outlined by Dr. Randolph Stone, DO, DC. There are 5 basic system patterns that are common in the human body. Each one has particular qualities and tendencies that manifest in the body as either health or disease. We will explore each pattern with body work sequences as well as simple exercises for health building. 

   Easily integrated into all bodywork, working with these particular stress points brings added richness and value to your practice.
